  • The Amarnath Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage that involves trekking to the Amarnath Cave, located in Kashmir.
  • The traditional route starts from Pahalgam and ends at Baltal. Pahalgam serves as the base camp for the longer and more traditional trek, The journey takes 3-4 days and involves traversing rugged terrain, crossing rivers, and enduring varying weather conditions. The highlight of the pilgrimage is the darshan (viewing) of the naturally formed ice lingam inside the cave, which represents the lord Shiva Total trek is from Chandanwari to Baltal is around 42-44 km and can be cover in 3 to 4 days.

Itinerary

Day 1: Jammu to Srinagar by road - 250 km / 8 hours
  • Arrive at Jammu in the morning and start our scenic road journey towards Srinagar,
  • Or you can directly reach Srinagar City/ Airport. We will transfer you by Non A.C. vehicle to a Srinagar Hotel.
  • Later in the evening we can explore the market near Dal Lake. Or we may visit Shankaracharya temple
  • You can store your additional backpack/luggage at Srinagar hotel


Day 2: Srinagar - Pahalgam (95 Km Journey) - Pahalgam - Chandanwari (16 km Drive) - Sheshnag (11KM Trek)
  • Drive to Pahalgam approx 2-3 hours Journey from Srinagar, transfer you by Non A.C. vehicle to Pahalgam, via Lidder Valley. On the way, you can see garden, Kesar garden etc.
  • On arrival, We will pass through a registration/checking process
  • Later drive to Chandanwari base camp - 16 km scenic journey.
  • Depending on crowd and checking time, we will start our 11km trek to Sheshnag
  • The trek is steep for the first 3 km till Pissu top.
  • After 9 km of gradual ascent and 4-5 hours of trek, we can see one of the most beautiful himalayan lakes, 'Sheshnag Jheel’ or' Sheshnag Lake’.
  • We stay near the reserved campsite near Sheshnag lake


Day 3: Sheshnag - Poshpatri - Panchtarni (13 km)
  • Early morning we will start our trek towards Panchtarni
  • After Breakfast, start trekking towards Mahagunas (the great viper 14500 ft), called MG top.
  • then an easy descend up Poshpatri and towards to Panchtarni situated at the foot of mount Bhairva
  • We will Panchtarni camp by evening


Day 4: Panchtarni - Amarnath Cave (6 km) - Baltal (12 Km trek)
  • After breakfast, we start our 6 km trek to Holy Amarnath Cave.
  • Take a blessing from the Barfani baba.
  • We will start a return trek towards Baltal.
  • After 4-5 hours of decent trek, we will reach baltal.


Day 5: Baltal - Sonamarg - Srinagar (approx-2-3 hours- 100 km)
  • We will leave for Srinagar with a Non AC vehicle. Today if time Permits then we will have sightseeing in Srinagar Local.
  • It Includes, Mughal Garden, Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Chasma Shahi, Parimahal, Shankaracharya Temple, Dal Lake etc subject to time availability till 4-5 pm. Return in the evening to a hotel in Srinagar Dinner & Overnight Stay.


Day 6: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (This day can be used as buffer day)
  • A one day excursion to Gulmarg
  • One can experience the world's second longest Gondola ride at Gulmarg.
  • Visit shiva temple, explore gulmarg or do adventure activities.
  • Back to Srinagar later evening and stay
  • (In case of any unavoidable situation, we can use one day as a buffer day)


Day 7: Drive back to Jammu
  • Check out from the hotel post breakfast
  • Drive back to Jammu - 6-8 hours journey
  • Reach back to jammu in the evening
  • You can plan your return journey after 6 pm

  • 70% balance amount minimum 14 days prior to trip date


Cancellation Policy:

  • 100% refund 28days prior to trip date exclusive of GST
  • 30% cancellation charges if cancellation done between 28 to 14 days prior or Full amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming event in next 2 month, but cannot be transferred to another participant
  • 70% cancellation charges if cancellation done between 14 to 7 days prior or 50% amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming event in next 2 month, but cannot be transferred to another participant
  • Fees are neither refundable nor transferable if cancellation done, less than 7 days prior to event date
