Standing magnificently at an altitude of 3,580 metre and enveloped in the mighty Garhwal Himalayas, the Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath forms one of the four sites of the Chota Char Dham Pilgrimage and one among the Panch Kedar.

Reconstructed by Adi Shankracharya in 8th century, The temple is said to be covered in snow for more than 400 years during the period of little ice age of 1300-1900AD.

Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area ( altitude 2700 metre), a part of Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary in Uttarakhand, India and a base for trekking to Tungnath.

Tungnath is the Highest Shiva Temple in world at an altitude of 3680 metres (12073 feet). It is a third temple of Panch Kedar. 3.5km short yet steep; uphill trek takes you to this temple. Further 1.5 km steep climb and trek from the temple leads to the Chandrashila, which is a summit peak at an altitude of 4000 metres (13000 feet). The trek is surrounded by forests of pine, deodar and rhododendron and is rich in flora and fauna include rare species of birds and musk deer.

Day 1: Explore Rishikesh and Ganga Aarti

Day 0:

Arrival at Delhi, Reporting at meeting point at 11.00 pm, departure for Haridwar/Rishikesh

Pick up: Kashmiri Gate ( Swaminarayan Mandir- Civil Lines metro)

  • Early morning arrival at Har ki Pauri ghat,
  • Take a dip into ganga river, Head towards Rishikesh
  • Breakfast, Reach rishikesh around 11.00 am
  • One can do following activities in Rishikesh
  • River Rafting- 2-3 hours
  • Bungee jumping or Flying fox*
  • Visit Laxman jhula,Ram jhula local
  • Ganga Aarti at one of the following places Shatrughan Ghat, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan Ashram

Day 2: Rishikesh - Devprayag - Rudraprayag - Dharidevi temple - Guptkashi/Phata
  • Early breakfast and leave for Phata/Sitapur
  • On the way visit
  • Devprayag - River confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda river
  • Rudraprayag - River confluence of Mandakini and Alaknanda river
  • Dharidevi temple - Goddess Kali tempe in the middle of River

Day 3: Kedarnath Trek
  • Start our day as early as possible
  • Leave extra luggage at hotel only

  • Start 21 km trek towards kedarnath dham - 8-10 hours
  • Enjoy scenic beauty throughout the trek
  • Reach at kedarnath temple
  • Check in to hotel room near temple
  • Evening aarti darshan at kedarnath temple
  • Dinner & Rest for the day

Day 4: Kedarnath trek down Drive to Guptkashi/Phata
  • Wake up call in the early morning and get ready for morning darshan and aarti
  • Spend enough time to explore surrounding area such as Bhimshila, Adi Shankaracharya Statue, Bhairav temple
  • Breakfast and check out from hotel
  • Start trekking down towards Gaurikund - 4-6 hours & 1 hour to reach Gaurikund to Sitapur parking
  • Reach Sonprayag/Sitapur parking by 5.00 pm
  • Reach hotel at Guptkashi, freshen up
  • Dinner and Rest for the day

Trek: 21 km | 5-6 Hrs

Distance: 5 + 26 km | 30 min by road

Stay : Phata/Sitapur

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 5: Guptkashi - Tungnath Trek - Chopta
  • Wake up and Breakfast
  • 2 -3 hour scenic drive towards Chopta
  • Trekking towards world's highest shiva temple
  • 4-5 hours of beautiful yet challanging trek to reach tungnath temple
  • Witness majestic mountain of Himalayas range including Chaukhamba massive, Kedar dom through out the trek
  • Finish your trek around 05.00 pm
  • Enjoy leisure time at Campsite

Stay: Chopta

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 6: Chopta - Rishikesh- Overnight Journey
  • Wake up and Breakfast, Free time at campsite, Drive back towards Delhi
  • Visit Omkareshwar temple at Ukhimath
  • With some pit stops we will reach Rishikesh and Further journey to Delhi
  • Reach Delhi anytime after midnight or next morning

Cancellation Policy
  • 100% refund 28days prior to trip date exclusive of GST and Train/flight ticket cancellation charges
  • 30% cancellation charges if cancellation done between 28 to 14 days prior or Full amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming event in next 2 month, but cannot be transferred to another participant
  • 70% cancellation charges if cancellation done between 14 to 7 days prior or 50% amount can be transferred to any of our upcoming event in next 2 month, but cannot be transferred to another participant
  • Fees are neither refundable nor transferable if cancellation done, less than 7 days prior to event date
